    Chair of the Psychiatry of Ageing and Director of the Centre for Dementia Prevention at the University of Edinburgh, Professor Craig Ritchie has been conducting research in ageing since 1997 and is a leading authority on clinical trials in dementia. He is particularly interested in research on how, by keeping our brains healthier, we can reduce the chance of getting dementia.

    Prof Craig Ritchie will be joining us to share his thoughts on early detection, primary and secondary prevention (including pharmacological interventions), The Brain Health Ecosystem and moving from healthcare as an ‘illness model’ to a ‘health model’ and Covid’s impact in the recovery.
