Theresa Kramer has been involved in the health industry since 1976 holding senior nursing and management positions. She is an experienced specialist in aged care, dementia, facilities design, project management and service review. Her work has spanned rural and urban, community, hospital and residential care environments. As a Nurse she holds a Gerontology Certificate, Bachelor of Nursing and Post Graduate Diploma in Health Management. 

Theresa's area of professional expertise is dementia care which has led to significant work in developing aged care facilities and to leading project teams through construction and commissioning phases. Her major projects include the internationally recognised 'The Meadows,' a dementia specific hostel for the Hammond Care Group and the redevelopment of 'Bodington,' a 120 bed high and low care aged facility constructed on a historic 3rd Schedule hospital site. Recently she has been involved in the construction of "Hillside at Figtree," a 6 star service in the Illawarra. 

Theresa has strong management skills, especially in change management and strategic planning. Significant positions include Director of Service Development for the Hammond Care Group, the Principal Director of Care for Catholic Health Care Services Ltd and the General Manager of Bodington at Wentworth Falls, NSW. She was the Director of The Essence Consulting Group from 2001 until 2015. Theresa has consulted throughout Australia, NZ, Africa, the UK, Asia and Canada and presented papers in Australia, Singapore, Canada, Scotland and the USA. She has committed her career to creating environments, both physical and operational, that enable individuals and groups to achieve their potential to the breadth and depth of their capabilities and desires.
