Amee Baird completed a PhD and Master of Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Melbourne. She has worked as a clinical neuropsychologist for over 15 years in both clinical and research positions including in London and Paris, and is now based in Newcastle where she has a private practice. Her clinical research is currently funded by a NHMRC-ARC Dementia Research Development Fellowship. A central theme of her research has been relationships, and how people and their partners navigate life together after a brain injury or disease. She recently published her first book, Sex in the Brain (NewSouth Publishing, 2019).
