Professional Bio

Angelina is a registered nurse with over 25 years’ experience in aged care nursing. Angelina currently works as a Project Officer Nurse advisor to the Infrastructure Department for Uniting AgeWell in Melbourne. Uniting AgeWell is a not for profit organisation of Uniting Church in Australia Synod Victoria & Tasmania. Uniting AgeWell provides residential care across 21 residential facilities, retirement living and Community Services for older Australians throughout Victoria and Tasmania. Their focus is on supporting older people to experience a sense of wellbeing, choice and independence at every age and stage of their lives; to feel valued members of their community and to have easy access to the services they need to live the life they want. Angelina has been involved with a number of refurbishment projects and new builds over the past 8 years.

Uniting is responsible for the social justice, community services and chaplaincy work of the Uniting Church in NSW and the ACT, providing care and support for people through all ages and stages of life and with a focus on people experiencing disadvantage and vulnerability. Their purpose is to inspire people, enliven communities and confront injustice.

Angelina has a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Nursing - Gerontology from La Trobe University, a public research university located in Melbourne, Australia. She also has a Graduate Certificate of Psychiatric Nursing Practice (Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing)of RMIT (formerly Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) University, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Registered Nursing from the Australian Catholic University - Victoria.
