Hannah Blumberg

Project Architect - integratedDESIGNgroup

Professional Bio

Hannah is a practicing architect in NSW. She developed a passion for the impact of design on people with dementia when she started at integratedDESIGNgroup in 2012, assisting with the Dementia Centre’s design-audits.

She carried these passions into her thesis project for her Masters of Architecture at RMIT where she looked at how the city might allow people living with dementia to engage in society.

Since then Hannah has lead the delivery of projects with various providers interested in the promotion of good dementia design. These include the redevelopment of HammodCare's flagship site, Hammondville, and the extension of Three Tree Lodge's dementia wing in Lithgow, which she will tell you about in her presentations "Finding you way: in the village" and "Finding your way: through construction!".

Hannah also completed a 6-month secondment to HammondCare’s Capital Works team and the Dementia Centre in 2018, where she assisted in reviewing HammondCare's construction projects with their operations teams and streamlining their design outcomes, and in commercial design audits as a consultant for the Dementia Centre.
