Student and pensioner concession rates
We offer concession rates for students and pensioners ($569 for 1 day and $999 for 2 days) and a limited number of places for people living with dementia and their carers. To access these, please email conference@dementia.com.au.

When can I register for IDC 2026?
Early bird registration

Full price registration

Early bird registrations must be paid by Wednesday, 11 March 2026 to qualify for the discounted price.

When can I submit a paper or an ePoster?
We are no longer accepted abstract submission for IDC2026 but you can still submit an ePoster. The deadline 5pm AEST Thursday, 30 April 2026.
Will there be a virtual component?
No, attendance at IDC2026 is in-person only.

About the venue
The International Dementia Conference 2026 is taking place at the Hilton Sydney, located on George Street in the heart of Sydney.
The Hilton is easily accessible via public transport, including a light rail from Central Station and Circular Quay stopping in front of the building. The venue is a short walk from Town Hall train station and readily accessible by bus.

What happens if I need to cancel or change my registration?
Cancellations received in writing on or before 30 April 2026 will be refunded, less a 25% cancellation fee. No refunds will be made after this date for any reason.
Registrations can be transferred to another delegate free of charge any time on or before 3 June 2026. Please contact the conference team to arrange this.

Will there be certificates of registration provided?
A certificate of registration will be provided to the person who registered to attend. We encourage you to keep a detailed log of the sessions you attend for any professional development requirements.

We will be communicating the outcome of ePoster submissions by Friday, 8 May 2026.
