There's never been an International Dementia Conference with a more countries represented onstage, bringing experience and expertise from as far afield as Ireland, the UK, the Netherlands, the US, Taiwan and Uganda.

We can't wait to find out what people have to say about an incredibly diverse range of subjects in such a variety of disciplines - there is truly something for everyone!

Tackling the big questionsns

The program has something for everyone.

Our plenary speakers and panels will cover some of the most urgent issues in the dementia field, such as

  • The role of first responders
  • Sexuality in residential aged care
  • Dementia stereotypes in the media
  • Palliative care in an age of voluntary assisted dying

The concurrent sessions will cover a diverse range of disciplines – such as allied health, nursing, academia, research, architects, and family carers – and topics as varied as:

  • younger onset dementia
  • specialist palliative care for people living with dementia
  • supporting LGBT+ and First Nations people with dementia
  • and aged care reforms.
